Tilden.

The temperatures are finally low enough for jeans and sweaters, and I could not wait to bust out these insanely comfortable maternity jeans from Tilden. The biggest question I've received from all of you guys on IG is which maternity jeans I would recommend, since it's so hard to find a pair that doesn't make us feel huge and uncomfortable. I 100% think that buying one or two really good quality pairs is the best way to go.

Usually even when I'm not preggers I have a few pairs of my favorite go-to denim, anyway! I've been re-wearing these, and I have no shame, because you honestly cannot even tell they are maternity jeans! Don't be surprised if I am still wearing them after the baby ;) (p.s. I talked more about maternity jeans here, too).

The adventure begins.

Ever since I picked up this cardigan from UO, I've basically had it on repeat with every single outfit. I've been thinking of getting it in another color, but there's so many to choose from that it overwhelms me! haha.

So it's the final countdown - 33 days until baby! I even made a countdown, if you feel like getting amped with me. I totally feel like this baby will be early, but everyone keeps saying to assume 40 weeks, so the countdown goes until 40! I've been training the person who will work my job for me when I am on leave, and THAT makes it feel super real. Also, the pain and the giant belly. Those too.

Baby H Maternity Pictures

The countdown is on, with only a few weeks left in this pregnancy I am so excited that we had the chance to sneak away with Jennifer to snap these. My matt is not a big picture guy, he definitely prefers to be behind the lens, but LOOK HOW PHOTOGENIC HE IS! I am sure H will see these and be like "ew mom and dad are kissing," but hopefully when he is like 30, or something, he will look back on them and think we were once cool/ not too bad. Either way, I will cherish them forever.

Long Beach, NY has been my favorite place since I was a little girl. My family used to make the drive to the beach to get ice cream on the boardwalk and play in the parks, and after we moved to Florida, we would spend Summers in Long Beach with all of my aunts, uncles and cousins. I knew from an early age it was where I wanted to end up in life, it feels like home. I get all nostalgic and teary eyed thinking how lucky we are to be able to raise our baby here, and that Matt loves it just as much as I do.

We knew we wanted to take our photos around Long Beach in places that were close to our heart. We walked around and shot at sunset on the boardwalk, the beach and in some of our favorite Long Beach spots that we can't wait to bring H to. Hopefully he will grow up and love it here as much as we do.

Decorating for Halloween!

Luckily my baby is due to be born around one of my favorite holidays, which means I now get to celebrate Halloween AND his birthday! Celebrating is a little tricky this year, since I may or may not be in labor, but that is not stopping me from decorating our home and picking out matching costumes to Matt (you can see our past costumes hereherehere and here) like we do every year.

It's super easy for us to find costumes, but I have yet to stumble upon a Halloween store that isn't totally tacky.. that is, until the Grandin Road pop-up shop in Macy's Herald Square! It's basically my dream come true, filled with adorable decorations and really cool displays. You almost feel like you're in a haunted house or a ride! Anyway, Matt and I stopped in to pick up some things, so hopefully when we bring home our little pumpkin, there's pumpkins all over our home too!

If you're in NYC, make sure to stop by! It will be in Macy's Herald Square until October 31st!

Here's a few of our favorites that we picked up:

Tandem Coffee

One of our favorite things about roadtripping and visiting new cities is trying new coffee shops! I can never say no to coffee & a scone, and would prefer that to any other lunch any day of the week! We snapped these at Tandem Coffee in Portland, Maine. It is one of my favorite places, and it seriously feels like 1960's California (or at least how I'd picture that to feel). If I lived in Maine, I'd prob go work there every day!

P.S. I've been living in these maternity overalls. I am SO thankful that they were created.
